These systems restrict access to your site to those people authorised to enter. This can be by use of an access code or a swipe/proximity card to open and close entry/exit doors. Systems can be designed to meet your needs and budget.

An access system is a very effective tool used to restrict access through a door, a driveway or into a building - the options are endless. This is achieved through intelligent software within an alarm control panel or through a dedicated access system control panel.
To restrict access to a building an electric lock, magnetic lock or drop bolt is installed. For a driveway it would be an electric gate or boom gate. Access through these barriers is achieved via proximity cards, tokens or through a keypad.
Proximity Card
- A proximity card reader is located near the door or gate to be accessed. When the card is swiped (no touching parts) within the range of the reader (approximately 10cm) the card’s data is deciphered by the reader and control panel. If the card has been programmed for access the door or gate will unlock.
Keypad
- Access is restricted to those people who are issued a pre programmed code. When this code is entered into the keypad the control panel allows the door or gate to be opened.
If you wish to apply restrictions to the users of your access system this can be done easily whether you choose to use proximity cards or keypads.
For example you can restrict the access of a specific user or a group of users to Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm or whatever you wish.
The combinations are near endless and the flexibility of the control panels to process the information at speed allows access systems to be very quick in functionality.
We have extensive experience in installing and managing all types of access systems from single door access through to fifty doors and more.
